Montana State American Marketing Association Announces 2021-2022 Executive Board

BOZEMAN, MT - April 21, 2021 - With graduation right around the corner and we say goodbye to our seniors, we say hello to a new executive board for the Montana State chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA). Nine leadership positions with the award-winning student organization were up for grabs for the upcoming academic year. Students who are running were asked to give a 90-second pitch to tell members why they should be voted in for the position. AMA is proud to announce its new executive board for 2021-2022:

-       President - Isabelle Ivankovich, junior from Snohomish, Wash.

-       Executive Vice President - Shayna Armer, junior from Billings

-       Vice President of Membership - Emma Davidson, junior from Weiser, Idaho.

-       Vice President of Programs - Abby Elliot, a sophomore from Billings

-       Vice President of Marketing - Amaya Frank, junior from Billings

-       Vice President of Consulting - Josiah Green, senior from Great Falls

-       Vice President of Fundraising - Ethan Toon, a sophomore from Omaha, Neb.

-       Vice President of Finance - Mariah Moulton, junior from Conrad

-       Vice President of Communications - Hunter Young, junior from Billings

“I could not be more excited to be the new president for AMA this next coming school year,” said Ivankovich, a double major in marketing and finance.“I hope to bring a level of community and continue to have great experiences with this group that I now consider my family.”

The executive board is responsible for all operations that take place with the chapter, including managing the organization’s $40,000 annual budget. “The executive board elections are something I always look forward to,” said Dr. Eric Van Steenburg, assistant professor of marketing in the Jake Jabs College of Business & Entrepreneurship, and the AMA faculty advisor. “Getting to see the new board voted in is a glimpse into the new things that might happen in the coming year for our chapter.”

AMA at Montana State is an award-winning chapter that has won 33 awards in just five years of existence. This past year, the Montana State chapter won four first-place awards in numerous competitions, including earning a Top 10 chapter designation out of more than 300 student chapters worldwide.

The American Marketing Association is the student lead chapter of the AMA at Montana State University. AMA’s mission is to prepare students for their professional careers through experiences that inspire students to cultivate strong networks, personal growth, and ethical leadership with a community-oriented focus.
