Executive Board Positions

  • President

    • Leads exec and member meetings

    • Creates meeting agendas

    • Collaborates on budget, events, Chapter Plan, and Annual Report

    • Oversees the Executive Board and works closely with the Faculty Advisor

    • Represents AMA at Montana State

  • Executive Vice President

    • Manages Director of Consumer Insights

    • Creates member surveys and collects board reports

    • Tracks deadlines for competitions and submissions

    • Assists in writing the Chapter Plan and Annual Report

    • Supports the President with tasks

  • VP of Communications

    • Sends agenda and meeting minutes 24 hours before meetings

    • Takes notes on new and old business during Executive Board meetings

    • Manages six directors and ensures they can work independently 

    • Creates a content calendar for data analytics reports, emails, newsletters, and social media posts 

    • Ensures effective communication within the chapter and campus

  • VP of Consulting

    • Collaborate with advisors and partners to lead client acquisition and secure 2–3 clients per semester

    • Conduct discovery meetings and develop tailored marketing strategies for each client

    • Create and validate service estimates with advisor input

    • Build cross-functional teams (marketing, design, tech, etc.) and oversee project managers

    • Manage full project lifecycle with the project manager, including execution oversight, final deliverables, and end-of-project wrap-up such as billing and client satisfaction

  • VP of Fundraising 

    • Secures funding through sponsorships, donations, grants, and merchandise sales

    • Maintains and upsells relationships with previous sponsors

    • Focuses on building and sustaining financial support

  • VP of Membership

    • Recruits new members and ensures a positive experience during membership

    • Tracks attendance and membership records

    • Organizes classroom visits and updates recruitment materials

    • Engages in campus events to promote AMA

    • Manages recruitment and engagement directors to maintain and grow membership

  • VP of Finance

    • Manages the budget to help the chapter stay on track financially

    • Tracks point totals for each member

    • File taxes, pay invoices, and distribute reimbursements

  • VP of Marketing

    • Oversees marketing for events, activities, and the AMA brand

    • Collaborates with the VP of Programs and VP of Communications

    • Coordinates photography and videography at events 

    • Manages the websites, creates content, and mentors team members

  • VP of Programs

    • Plans the full calendar of events for the year

    • Leads directors in organizing events for Marketing Week, Sales Week, and the Regional Conference

    • Coordinates panels, workshops, competitions, and social events

    • Works with leadership to find speakers, judges, and panelists

    • Oversees event logistics including supplies, setup, technology, food, etc. 

  • VP of Social Impact

    • Coordinates and shares DEI and volunteer opportunities with members for ICC points

    • Oversees the Pro Bono team and client
