What Are Points?
Points are our way of helping YOU get involved and get recognized for it!
Every point you earn translates directly into dollars that will help fund your trip to the International Collegiate Conference (ICC) in Chicago.
How To Earn:
Earn 3 points just for showing up, learning, and participating.
Volunteer Opportunities
Earn 3 points per hour for helping out at events, projects, or community activities.
Become a Director
Directors earn 25 points for becoming a director and fulfilling the responsibilities of their position.

Certain opportunities are worth 1 point (we’ll let you know!).
Every point counts toward your trip, so the more you participate, the more you earn!

How Many Points Do I Need To Go To ICC For FREE?
This year’s point estimate for a fully funded trip to ICC is around *74-80 points.
Go above and beyond so you don’t have to worry!

Volunteer opportunities are available every month, so there’s always a chance to earn more points.

How Do I Become A Director?
Attend our first meeting of each semester for open director positions.
Watch our Recruitment Video for the different areas of business you can be involved in.
Network with our Executive Board to make sure you’re a top choice for open spots!
When Is ICC?
ICC is March 12–14, 2026.
VIM Funding Steps
To get your points and VIM funding, follow these steps:
Go to Subgroups
Search up Registered Student Organization (RSO)
5. Once you are in the AMA Sub Group select “Add Impact” button
3. Go into RSO and click subgroups
4. Search up “American Marketing Association” and click on it
6. Fill out your impact (hours worked, location, include photo)
7. Add Chloe Warford as your verifier
8. Add a third party verifier
